Duplicate key for multiple localtion resolving to the same place_id

When more then one item in source collection, has the same location, plugin fails as it tries to add a duplicate ID to geo nodes collection.

This my my second bug posting, first one is without any response. Is anyone maintaining this, or should I fork repo in an attempt to fix it?
