[feature] allow change in "vertical" coordinate without edit mode

When plotting 2D data in 1D, IBEX shows the extra dimension as a vertical scroll button on the left of the plot:

In the image above, this is the "time" coordinate.

At the moment, to change this coordinate it is necessary to be in edit mode. I think this gives a poor user experience, it is not clear why the user can not change that coordinate in any mode, since it is not changing the grid, and the change from 1D to 2D and back is done without editing mode.

Thank you for your feedback. The reason it currently requires edit mode is that the whole plot tile also acts as a drag handle for rearranging the grid: keeping the slider active at all times could lead to accidentally changing the data while trying to move a plot. So the current behavior is a deliberate trade-off rather than an oversight. But I agree the experience can be improved, and it's technically possible to make the slider always usable without breaking the drag interaction.

This is a design decision that @olivhoenen will need to weigh in on, as it's a matter of priorities. Please note we won't be able to address it before our delivery this Wednesday, so any change would come in a later iteration.
