I would also very much appreciate this!

It seems many people have requested this, and there was work done towards publishing on F-Droid. However the main issue discussion was closed without comment late last year.

I am evaluating a subscription but stumbled upon the issue refered to by @dakomi. Unverified third-party APKs are a no-go, and for any privacy-conscious user the Google Play store, requiring a Google account associated to a phone number, is also off-limits.

Are you considering publishing the app to F-Droid (or even Accrescent) in the near term? Thanks.
