Resumark is a minimalist, markdown-based resume builder created to solve one very specific problem: editing resumes should be simple, free, and hassle-free. This weekend project was born out of frustration with traditional tools: no subscriptions, no fiddling with formatting, no spending hours picking a template.
Resumark leverages Markdown, one of the greatest inventions of our time, extending it slightly with quality-of-life features tailored specifically for resumes.
- Simple, markdown-based syntax with additional convenience elements
- Persistent storage using local storage (Note: clearing application data or using incognito mode will erase your resume)
- Fully customizable via CSS themes
- Minimal UI
- Export as PDF (just print the webpage)
- Single-page resumes only: If your resume doesn't fit on an A4 sheet, you might need to simplify it 🙄
- Local storage only: No cloud support - I'm not going anywhere near the GDPR-filled nightmare storing all that personal data would be ⛈️
If Resumark’s minimalism isn't enough and you're looking for a polished product, check out Resumey. Not affiliated, just impressed!
Just hit your browser's print button/shortcut! remember to check the box to print the background and then save as pdf.
