The following items are already work in progress, but a full implementation and testing will require several months. Therefore, they should be considered for a future (post 0.6.2) release.
- improve description of solar image profile (due to asymmetry, this possibly requires a 2D description)
- update values of "effective diameter" in SAS aperture parameters
- generate new version of simulated data file(s) accordingly
- move definition of SAS parameters (relative gains, dark currents, apertures geometry, systematic offsets) to STIX-CONF [TBD whether static values are OK or if we need look-up tables for some parameters]
- implement usage of temperature measurements to improve aspect solution
- also generate ANC files (or similar) with pointing solution based on data acquired at 1s cadence during RSWs
