Harp input expander v1.2

Hi,

I am setting up an experiment in which I need to time stamps multiple devices. Using Bonsai, I have been able to grab the signals the harp input expander is getting from the different channels. However, I can't figure out how to grab the inputs received based on the channels (IN0 to IN9). Is there a way to do this in Bonsai and which library should I use to to so?

Given the lack of documentation online for the input expander it has been hard to find informations.

Hi @rronzano-ucl! You should use the Harp.InputExpander package. If you are using Bonsai 2.9, you need to tick the "show advanced" checkbox and make sure "nuget.org" is selected as the package source in the Bonsai package manager.

Sorry about the lack of device-specific documentation! We are actively working on expanding it. In the meantime, the general principles of the Bonsai Harp interface can be found here, and I have attached a device-specific example here.

We use a Parse operator to read the DigitalInput register events. There are two objects in the DigitalInputPayload, so we unpack and select just the DigitalInputState output. Lastly we use a BitwiseAnd to demultiplex and select the channel we want to visualize.

I do not have the device with me currently, so I cannot test it out, but let me know if it works for you!
