Age gate issues

Thanks for this code, it is great. I had an issue when a user tried to get a video which YouTube required a sign in for because of age restrictions. Any idea how to get around that?

The response from youtube is this:

reason=Sign+in+to+confirm+your+age&status=fail&errorcode=150&errordetail=1

No problem, it isn't a huge deal. I did find some people who claim to have bypassed it on some downloaders written in other languages but I haven't gone through their code yet.

Well it may have the links in the page. Might try using a reader to fish
out is encoded strings and URLs and see if any are worth using. If not a
temp user would work / gmail / YouTube login params. I'd have to look but
that'd be around next week. I don't mind checking. Code is knowledge to
anyone who can read it. Any patches would be great.

I'll take a look at those other solutions. But as far as the links being on the page, they are not, the response I pasted on the first comment is what I got from the get_video_info call using curl. I am going to troubleshoot this a bit more because in my case it might be that my users are already authenticated and I can reuse the cookie.

You could possibly try that. I should be finished with my job around the 8th. Then I can take a look and we can possibly chat on irc and I will try and help you trouble shoot the issues.

Finally got a chance to look into this. Adding the cookies that the user browsed to get the video to play worked. That being said if there was a way to avoid that it would be better but it works for now.
