Preferred term label
magnetic resonance imaging
Synonyms
MRI, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, magnetic resonance tomography
Definition
Imaging using magnetic fields to cause radiofrequency waves emission that is then measured. The technique is typically used to visualise soft tissue.
Parent term(s)
I believe tomography (http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/FBbi_00001004) might be a sensible parent

We might also want a term under imaged parameter for it: perhaps
electromagnetic wave intensity? (MRI is normally measures radiowaves) which would live between image parameter and fluorescence emission? I can leave that for another ticket.
I would like to add the term myself as this feels like a well scoped way to get familiar with the ontology toolkit & editing.
