Ax & BoTorch community members may have noticed reduced response times on GitHub over the past weeks.
Due to changing priorities within Meta and as part of a larger, company-wide reorg, the Adaptive Experimentation team has been disbanded, with many of us taking different roles within the company. As a result, we no longer have on-calls dedicated to supporting OSS Ax & BoTorch.
A group of us intend to continue using and developing Ax & BoTorch as part of our new roles within the company. We do not yet know what level of support we can commit to providing for the open source community. We will update the community as we get more clarity on this, and continue monitoring the GitHub issues & pull requests with reduced SLAs.
