I just received a "Banned" status on my app after submitting what I thought was a clear use case. I'm a bit lost and would appreciate any guidance.
I'm a small business owner (retail shop selling Mexican and Guatemalan artisanal products, based in Paris). I built a private internal ERP to manage my catalog and orders across multiple sales channels. The only thing I want to do with the Etsy API is:
sync my product listings from my ERP to my Etsy shop
update stock levels after sales
retrieve orders
All for my own shop, no third-party users, no commercial distribution.
The rejection email says "Missing clear and detailed use case or explanation of need" and points me to sections 3 and 5 of the API Terms. I've read both and I genuinely don't understand what I'm missing.
Has anyone been in this situation? Is there something specific Etsy expects in the use case description that I'm not providing?
At this point I would find it quite frustrating to have to pay for a third-party sync service simply because Etsy denies direct API access without clearly explaining what is non-compliant about a straightforward private integration.

Any help very welcomed !
Thanks
