In a future registration UI, a checkerboard view (alternate grid squares between showing fixed image and showing moving image) might help more clearly see and align fiber patterns. Landmarks Picker and Photoshop are currently the best registration tools, and each only shows one image at a time (or a composite, which is often not very useful). Being able to actually see a fiber in both images simultaneously and align it that way would be nice.
