Surface Grid

Hello, I would like to set the surface grid to a polar type of grid and set the parameters something like this:

what i would like to have is the origin of the grid points to 0,0,0 and set the Grid distances R and alpha

I need this grid for exporting the results of the surface. I wanted to use the result sections, but I didn`t find anyway to extract the values from the result section, is there a way?

I have tried to create a surface grid to polar type by assigning few parameters as a dictionary, which you can find here:

for example: Surface(1, '1 2 3 4', 1, params={'grid_type':"GRID_TYPE_POLAR", 'grid_origin':{ 'x' : 2.0, 'y' : 2.0, 'z' : 0.0}, 'grid_adapt_automatically': True}). By activating 'grid_adapt_automatically = True', you do not need to assign grid distance R and alpha.

Sorry, I did not understand the second point of the result sections. If you are looking to extract result tables for 'Results by Surface' (see below image) then yes we can extract result tables by static methods of ResultTables(). For example: ResultTables.SurfacesGlobalDeformations(loading_type = CaseObjectType.E_OBJECT_TYPE_LOAD_CASE, loading_no = 1, object_no = 1)

Thank you for the reply, since the last time I tried to use i've seen that the polar grid is now working as it should be, thank you for implementation.
Regarding the second question, i will try to use the method you mentioned. What I was meaning by this is that you can create Sections ([https://www.dlubal.com/en/support-and-learning/learning/videos/000032]) and then export those values in RFEM 5, but I can use what we have right now. Thank you very much again!
