Support Stream Deck+ XL and Galleon 100 SD

Investigate and add explicit support for Stream Deck+ XL and the Galleon 100 SD integrated Stream Deck controls.

Amp Deck currently targets the four-encoder Stream Deck+ layout and only that device has been available for hardware testing. Elgato now exposes distinct profile device types for Galleon 100 SD and Stream Deck+ XL, so support should be designed and verified per device rather than assumed from shared encoder/key behavior.

Investigation

• Inventory each device's:
  • key grid;
  • encoder count and events;
  • touch-display dimensions and layout behavior;
  • supported controllers;
  • profile device type; and
  • Stream Deck software/SDK requirements.
• Audit assumptions in the current four-encoder continuous status layout.
• Decide whether each device should use:
  • the same action with a device-specific layout;
  • a device-specific status action; or
  • a tailored profile and interaction model.
• Confirm that existing action UUIDs and settings can remain compatible.
• Define graceful behavior when an action is placed on an unsupported controller or incomplete layout.

Acceptance criteria

• A documented compatibility assessment exists for both devices.
• Device-specific layouts and recommended control mappings are implemented where required.
• Existing Stream Deck+ behavior and saved profiles remain compatible.
• Rendering tests cover the relevant device dimensions.
• Device connection/change events do not corrupt shared selection or monitoring state.
• The manifest and packaged profiles pass Stream Deck validation.
• Hardware testing is completed on each device before that device is advertised as supported.
• The README support matrix and screenshots are updated with verified results and remaining limitations.
