I'm using the default templates provided by OpenAPITools/openapi-generator. you are probably referring to this: https://github.com/OpenAPITools/openapi-generator/blob/3c664d1a59717a3ba7e56c3584b8b2648b347bbf/modules/openapi-generator/src/main/resources/python/python_doc_auth_partial.mustache#L98

I'm sorry but I won't create and maintain a new template for this, but feel free to open an issue upstream! if they will update their template, I'll gladly get the new corrected example

I respectfully disagree with your decision to not report this yourself to OpenAPITools. I am pointing out an issue with your examples missing the import os to be functional examples. You report back to me that you are using another tool to generate your examples, which is where the bug is. I appreciate that you documented the cause, but it's not for me to address beyond communicating to you that your examples are not functional as written.
