On the public server, I am not seeing any of my trips or charges going through. the timer I use for charging seems to be working

The data is coming from the head unit itself, is it able to establish any connection to the server? If it does, check inside the unit, settings for Carwings. There should be a setting called "send vehicle data on power on" or something like that. Make sure it is checked

I was browsing and noticed that the Telemetry configuration was on the AZE0 not the OpenCARWINGS Custom: All datafields (8257). Why I don't know, I must have accidentally switched it

Why do I get the -40c temperature ? I am praying it is not that cold here :) Location seems to be working again, will have to watch what I click

Those are unknown anomalies that happen sometimes :D my guess is that the A/C module in the car didn't report outside temperature in time, so it is -40 (invalid value).

Depends on the usecase, I myself have 1 hour for periodic refresh, and 15 minutes while charging or driving.

If you do decrease the periodic refresh (first one, not charging or driving), keep in mind that refreshing too often could drain your 12v battery :)
