This is awesome and I would love to use with my students. I was wondering am I missing the index file?

Hi Mike,

Unless you were looking to change it, you can just go ahead and use the live hosted version in your class which is available from:

buzzer.click

I will forewarn you, that the buzzer is very loud and obnoxious. This was done intentionally to make it fun (funny), but it does grate on some people after a while and could be toned down a little. ;) I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this.

Just give it a go with your colleagues and experiment a little before you put it in front of your students. Alternatively, I do wonder whether it would make for a fun dinner party game too, although not if your locality is affected by COVID19 of course.

It also works fine if you are teaching online as well. In fact, I've used it with blended face-to-face and zoom participants in the one session. Just paste the join link into the chat session of your conference software and participants just use the regular computer browser to participate.

Let me know how it goes and if you have any feedback although PRs would be even better. :)

Hi,

First off thank you so much for this project. It is simple and awesome. I am a noob trying to learn JS and socket. I want to learn by building on top of it and playing around with code. I have tried to configure it on my windows laptop but to no good. Would you please help me with it?
