Timer

As a student, I would like to be able to time how long I am working for, to easily keep track of my targets.

Requirements

• Timer to track work
  • Start timer
  • Stop timer
  • Pause?
  • Preset time?

Ideally, for this:

• Timer appears set at 30 minutes and not counting when user loads page
• User presses 'Start studying' to begin counting.
• Once pressed, 'Start studying' button disappears, timer starts counting down in minutes and seconds (can be done visually as well as numerically), two new buttons appear 'Pause' and 'Finish'.
  -- 'Pause' toggles timer countdown on/off
  -- 'Finish' logs completed time to complete 5 minute intervals complete (e.g., 15-19.59 minutes -> 15 minutes logged) and returns to target display page.
• Timer keeps track of time even if device sleeps in interim - doesn't stop if doing it on a phone, and the phone screen switches off and processes are paused. So probably need to do something like: When timer starts, set target time of 30 minutes ahead, then compare current time to target time.
• If it reaches zero, stop timer, give some visual alert, Display "Well done - you're half an hour closer to your goal! Have a quick break now and come back for another 30 minutes", update target progress. Display 'Bank progress' - clicking returns to target display page.
