Plotting Differential Expression

Thank you for the great package!

Is there a possibility to add to plot the Differential Expression output from 'diffExp' using the plot_features function? Maybe adding the DiffExp as a projection?

Hi @arielmadr — thanks for the suggestion! This is now implemented.

plot_features() can plot the differential output directly as a projection. There is a new projection type as you requested, which can be used as:

  # Differential expression for selected genes
  plot_features(model, c("GeneA", "GeneB"),
                embedding = "umap", projection = "diffexp",
                contrast = c(condition = 1))        # add include_O = TRUE for the offset term

This is in PR #27 (released as v2.3.5).
