we currently follow a similar approach to posting new, say, weather sensors to earthranger. we make a source, make a subject with the source, and publish a observation so it appears on the map.
we only need the source ID that results from this pipeline to add this sensor to a node-red flow for continuous posting. it may be useful to make this happen. could be cool to introduce additional steps of the deployment pipeline here but, this would be a good first step. shouldnt need to change much, might just want to introduce a config file to select the subject group, source provider, etc.
