After a couple of days running well, the ytuner service aborted. My platform is Raspi Pi 3B+, ARM64.

The error “double free or corruption (fasttop)” indicates a memory‑management bug inside YTuner itself. This is not caused by systemd or your Raspberry Pi configuration. It usually happens when the program frees the same memory twice or corrupts the heap.
On ARM devices like the Raspberry Pi 3B+, this can appear when YTuner processes certain Yamaha/vTuner XML responses.
Your logs show that the crash happened exactly during Yamaha BrowseXML requests, which strongly suggests a bug triggered by a specific XML response.

2 Possible solution without fixing application:

1. In /etc/systemd/system/ytuner.service, add:

Restart=always
RestartSec=5

sudo systemctl daemon-reload
sudo systemctl restart ytuner

2. using 32 bit arm image (this need complete reinstall of your raspi)

I do prefer 1. option.

Do you use my ytuner script for install ?. It should contain proper parameters für systemd service.

🤔 I've never encountered this error myself. I'll check it out when I have a moment, and it's been very hard to find such free time lately. It'll be hard for me to find anything because I've never encountered this error before. Personally, I don't use an ARM64 platform. Please try with YTuner for the 32-bit ARM version and let me know about this. I wonder if this error will also appear... 🤔
This error isn't necessarily related to the last one:

YTuner is multithreaded, and the log is not filled in a critical section, so log entries can get mixed up sometimes. Also, the log is only accurate to seconds... I need to change that and add accuracy to hundredths of a second. 🤔

YTuner runs well on 32 bit ARM systems: I've tested it on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and also on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. For me the Raspberry Pi Zero W is the best choice because of its small energy consumption and its power to serve as an YTuner and as a DLNA server for audio.
