Improve demo readiness and accessibility report UX #100

Description

@DevOlabode

Summary

Track improvements identified after the latest demo to make Vizably's reports more useful and future demos more reliable.

Tasks

1. Improve results page hierarchy

The current results page is mostly a sequence of green check marks, making it difficult to quickly identify the most important information.

Investigate ways to introduce a stronger visual hierarchy, such as:

  • Highlighting critical findings first.
  • Grouping results by severity or category.
  • Surfacing key metrics and summaries at the top.
  • Making important actions and recommendations more prominent.
  • Improving scan readability and information density.

2. Add value through RSS sources

Research RSS feeds or other easily consumable data sources that can add value to Vizably.

Potential use cases include:

  • Accessibility news.
  • WCAG updates.
  • Browser compatibility changes.
  • Industry announcements.
  • Other relevant accessibility resources.

Prioritize sources that are reliable, easy to integrate, and require minimal maintenance.

3. Bulletproof the demo

Run the full demo flow locally and identify any issues that could affect stability during future demonstrations.

Focus on:

  • End-to-end scan workflow.
  • Repository creation and storage.
  • Authentication flows.
  • Error handling and recovery.
  • Performance bottlenecks.
  • Any flaky or inconsistent behaviour.

Address or document any issues discovered so future demos are more predictable and reliable.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Results page has a clearer visual hierarchy and is easier to scan.
  • At least a few high-quality RSS (or equivalent) sources have been identified for potential integration.
  • The full demo has been executed locally, with any issues fixed or documented before the next demonstration.
