Post-enhancement (v0.5.0), --text-faint (ink-400) computes 4.79:1 on --bg-app and 4.57:1 on --bg-surface (both AA-clean) but 4.28:1 on --bg-raised (ink-800) — marginally under 4.5:1. Documented in the token comment in tokens/colors.css. Options: add an ink-350 ramp step for dark faint (a brand-ramp decision), restrict faint text to non-raised surfaces by rule, or accept and document the 4.28 as large-text-only on raised.
