I'm not quite sure what you're asking for here?

Using the default SMB port is literally impossible without root [1], so whether the server process natively binds port 445, or actually binds 4450 and then configures a device-local port redirect is just an implementation detail in my opinion.

If you're still referring to the port issue, I'm again not quite sure what you want here. If you just mean that SimbaDroid should show up in Windows Explorer under 'Network', then yes, that would be nice, the only problem is that I'd need to port https://github.com/christgau/wsdd, or something like that.

[1] Unless you're running some exotic custom ROM that you've configured accordingly, but that case is too improbable to consider…

Honestly i did manage to achieve that by running the samba with wsdd in a lxc on termux but that setup is troublesome so i figured a android app would be easier
