The way Cork works
What is your idea about?
If possible, I would like to see more information/metadata in both the package details pane (when a package is selected in the sidebar), and the package preview window (when clicking "Preview" in the package installation popup).
The fields that I had in mind are:
- aliases/alternate names for the package
- current version number in preview window (already listed in details pane)
- path where the package is installed on the system
- a link to the package's page on the brew.sh website (for example, https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/node)
Attached are mockups of what I was envisioning.
In the details pane:
In the preview pane:
Why should this be added?
These would be useful to make sure you're 1) looking at the correct package, 2) installing the version you want, and 3) have acces to other details on the brew.sh website (analytics, OS support, the files on GitHub, etc).
Keeping it real
