[v3.0.2 Error] Base handle not set!

Summary
When I open the project's edit screen, close it, reload the page, and then try to open the edit screen again, I get an error that says “Base handle not set!” It might be easier to understand if you watch the video.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a sample project
2. Return to the home screen and open the project edit screen
3. Open the project edit screen (you may or may not save)
4. Reloading the page
5. When I open the edit screen for that project, I get an error that says “Base handle not set!”
6. A (temporary) workaround for this error is to open the project, close it, and then reopen the edit screen.

Observed behavior
I can't open the edit screen
Expected behavior
The edit screen can be opened without any errors

Platform (please complete the following information):

• OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (I'll try testing it on Windows 11 later as well.)
