Question: Can the disk space of the Circuit Python drive be extended?

In Bootloader mode (while updating CircuitPython) I see plenty of space on my PicoPlanet board:

After reboot back in "CircuitPython" mode the space is quite limited:

Is this intended to be so or can the space be increased in case more complex code/ libs max out the disk space?
