Error installing via composer

Just FYI, I am having issues installing this via composer. Is it just me? Everything on my side is fully updated.

Using php composer.phar require "bburim/flot" from the command line didn't work, but adding "bburim/flot": "dev-master" directly to the composer.json seemed to work.

may need to update the documentation
