Incorrect app icon on iOS 6 on iPad

The app icon does not get its default gloss effect and rounded corners from the OS on a non-retina iPad (iPad mini 1st gen, model A1432) running iOS 6.1.3 (10B329). This makes it look out of place on that device:

Same problem here but with an iPad 4 (Retina display)
