i am running HyperHDR on Windows and using the DirectX 11 screen grabber for its excellent performance.
My setup consists of 3 monitors, but I only have a single, continuous LED strip mounted across 2 of them. Currently, the DirectX 11 grabber doesn't allow me to select which specific monitors to include. I either have to capture a single primary display (missing the second LED-enabled monitor) or capture the entire virtual desktop (which incorrectly includes the 3rd monitor that has no LEDs, ruining the ambient lighting alignment).
Justification
Many power users, simulator racers (triple-monitor setups), and developers mix productivity and gaming environments. They often have ambient lighting installed only on their main gaming screens or a specific side of the desk. Current global capture options lack the granularity to support these layouts.
