Add Delay to RGB Output

What problem does this feature solve?

I am using a Sony Bravia 7 which is doing pretty extensive Pictureprocessing.That causes Lag/Delay. With the Hyperion Grabber, the LEDs get instructions for the Lighting, before the Picture changes. I guess it's around 300-500ms. When I turn off the Processing (Game Mode on the TV) it's fine.

What does the proposed API look like?

How should this be implemented in your opinion?

Add a Delay in the Config, so that the Instructions to my LEDs (in my case WLED) are send a bit delayed.

Same, Samsung 8k TVs take ~300ms when image smoothing is enabled (I have a second model now, both acting the same). I add 300ms audio delay when watching movies in my video player already, the same would need to be added to HyperHDR too.

+1 for this request. would love to be able to add a delay if possible. Have the same issue with LG TVs

Is this likely to be implemented. With Bravia 8 the delay is bad so i must stay on hyperion as delay feature is present there ( i have 10 frames delay in those settings).
