Project lacks license file

Hi,
I'm doing research about maybe possibly doing a project utilising the Image Mastering API and while I don't know if the IMAPI or .NET have changed significantly enough to make major changes to this library necessary, it still would seem like a waste not to use code that's already on the internet. Would you consider adding a license to this project (MIT would be ideal) so that myself or other people could use this library?

I don't know under what license files like Microsoft's Interop.cs are/were distributed and how that would affect assigning a license to this project but I hope it won't be an issue
