SD39.83: Outer 6 Circulate (or even Outer 6 U-Turn Back) from Triple Waves

SD knows how to identify the Very Centers, bur does not know how to identify the Outer 6, in certain plausible Triple Wave formations:

Notice that it is not just a problem with Circulate, but rather a problem with identifying the Outer 6 at all—we can't even ask them to U-Turn Back:

I don't believe that "outer 6" should include phantoms. Phantoms are never invoked unless there is a specific phantom concept used. As a dancer I wouldn't know how to dance this. I don't believe SD should support this usage.

I had no intention of involving phantoms. I believe that "Outer 6" means exactly those real dancers who are not among the Center 2, also known as the Very Centers. I observe that, as shown by the examples I provided, SD recognizes that certain 3x4 formations (those in which the two spots closest to flagpole center are occupied by real dancers) have Very Centers; it would seem "obvious" that Outer 6 must refer to the other six dancers, wherever they happen to be, no?

Oh, I see what you want. I think the fact that I couldn't figure it out even looking at the diagrams means this should be an extended application. I wouldn't personally want to see this at a dance. I don't believe that SD should be able to do absolutely anything from any place. It is intentionally conservative so that it is always accurate. If you want to do something like this, I suggest you move the checkers or use CSDS, which allows you to define new calls from formations like this.

But SD is my tool of choice, in part because it's all-or-nothing. And it doesn't seem a big ask to want to use "Outer 6" as an identifier for those calls that can handle almost any formation, such as U-Turn Back or Jaywalk or Press Ahead or Truck. In fact, those are the very calls I need most to "push checkers within SD" when it doesn't know how to handle a more complicated call.

Then again, given that what I want for 6x2 Acey Deucey arguably fits the definition pretty well—I grant it would be an unusual extended application that would probably require cuing—this would seem to be a classic case that SD should go ahead and handle, but with a warning that the formation is unusual (or even controversial).
