Hi @SeppPenner. Sadly, the sync notifications from the bot have not been working for quite a long time. I don't know why it stopped working or why it suddenly woke up for this issue in particular.

The files were added here:

arduino/reference-en#870

A lot more also for the SPI library:

arduino/reference-en#866

A good first step would be just pulling in the English language files from arduino/reference-en so at least the content is in place ready for translation. My workflow for that sort of simply sync was to add arduino/reference-en as a remote and then do a git cherry-pick for the relevant commits. It is not so easy with files that have divergent histories between the two repos because then you get a conflict, but newly added files don't present such a problem.

I'd be happy to submit a PR for adding the English language files this weekend if that would be helpful to you.
