To reproduce, download a text file from here, then run less ~/Downloads/quran-simple.txt. As you scroll through the file, mlterm uses increasingly more memory and slows down. Even after quitting less, the terminal remains slow with high memory usage. Tested with mlterm 3.9.4 (quartz) on macOS 15.3.2
