Update ConnectApi type definitions for Spring/Summer '26 / API 66.0-67.0

This is the ConnectApi API 66.0-67.0 tracker. Implementation was handled in focused issues/PRs rather than as one broad ConnectApi sweep.

Related backlog

• Backfill pre-66 ConnectApi.CdpQuery dataspace and Data Graph surface #62 - Backfill pre-66 ConnectApi.CdpQuery dataspace and Data Graph surface. This was not strictly an API 66/67 refresh item, but the audit found it while working Update ConnectApi type definitions for Spring/Summer '26 / API 66.0-67.0 #46 and it was handled separately.

Notes

• This repo already has broad ConnectApi coverage, so changes were handled as API deltas rather than a namespace bootstrap.
• CdpQuery compile probes against the pre-release org were useful for signature validation, but runtime execution was blocked there by System.NoAccessException: Insufficient Privileges.
• The Apex Reference Guide has inconsistent page/type names for some CdpQuery outputs; compile-probe-confirmed Apex-visible names were preferred where available.

The highest-signal API 66.0 delta is a missing RecordUi surface plus new CdpQuery metadata-entity methods.

API 67.0 checklist

The reference hits found for API 67.0 in ConnectApi were commerce/revenue-cloud oriented rather than core RecordUi/CdpQuery.

Missing or likely stale API 67.0 commerce surfaces include:

• createCartFromQuote
• updateQuote
• createQuoteFromProduct
• related input/output types such as CartFromQuoteInput / CartFromQuoteOutput, UpdateQuoteInput / UpdateQuoteOutput, CreateQuoteFromProductInput / CreateQuoteFromProductOutput, BestLocationPerSKUOutputRepresentation, and RoutingProductInputRepresentation

No non-commerce core ConnectApi API 67.0 delta was confirmed in this pass.

Likely no-op / caution

• ContactPointTypeRepresentationEnum already has Subscriber_Key_Email and Subscriber_Key_Phone, so the Summer '26 multi-subscriber release-note item does not currently imply a missing enum value there.
• The Apex Reference Guide appears inconsistent on the metadata-entity names: signatures use CdpQueryMetadataEntitiesOutput, one property type is rendered as QueryMetadataEntityOutput, and examples use MetadataEntityCollectionRepresentation / MetadataEntityRepresentation. This should be verified against a real org or a second reference source before coding the CdpQuery metadata entities.

Out of scope for this issue unless we decide otherwise

Local CdpQuery is already behind older API levels. Missing dataspace/data-graph members such as getAllMetadata(..., dataspace), getInsightsMetadata(..., dataspace), getProfileMetadata(..., dataspace), queryANSISql(..., dataspace), queryCalculatedInsights(..., dataspace), queryProfileApi(..., dataspace), universalIdLookupBySourceId(..., dataspace), and CdpDgMetadata are real gaps, but they are not Spring/Summer '26 introductions.

Pre-release org compile probes against alias pre-release (API 67.0) for the CdpQuery naming inconsistency.

Confirmed by guarded anonymous Apex compile probes

The Apex Reference Guide name ConnectApi.CdpQueryMetadataEntitiesOutput does not compile:

ConnectApi.CdpQueryMetadataEntitiesOutput output = ConnectApi.CdpQuery.getMetadataEntities();

Compile error:

Invalid type: ConnectApi.CdpQueryMetadataEntitiesOutput

The Apex-visible type is instead ConnectApi.MetadataEntityCollectionRepresentation:

Runtime access

A real runtime call compiles but fails in this org because the feature is not enabled for the user/org:

Runtime error:

System.NoAccessException: Insufficient Privileges: This feature is not currently enabled for this user.

So this pre-release org is useful for signature/type compile validation, but not for executing CdpQuery calls unless the relevant Data Cloud feature/user permissions are enabled.

Implementation implication

Use MetadataEntityCollectionRepresentation / MetadataEntityRepresentation for the getMetadataEntities(...) stubs, not CdpQueryMetadataEntitiesOutput / CdpQueryMetadataEntityOutput.

Local ConnectApi.CdpQuery is behind the current Apex Reference Guide in two distinct ways:

1. API 66.0 added metadata-entity methods and types.
2. Older pre-66 Data Cloud / Data Graph / dataspace overloads are also missing and are large enough to split from the API 66/67 refresh.

Missing methods:

Compile probes against the pre-release org confirm the Apex-visible names are MetadataEntityCollectionRepresentation and MetadataEntityRepresentation, not the reference-guide page names CdpQueryMetadataEntitiesOutput / CdpQueryMetadataEntityOutput.

Probe-confirmed details

• getDataGraphMetadata(...) returns ConnectApi.CdpDgMetadata, not ConnectApi.CdpQueryDataGraphMetadata.
• CdpDgMetadata.dataGraphMetadata is List<ConnectApi.CdpQueryDataGraphMetadata>.
• getDataGraphData* and getDataGraphDataWithLookupKeys* return ConnectApi.CdpQueryOutput.
• lookupKeys is a String.
• CdpQueryDataGraphMetadata.extendedProperties compiles as Object, not Map<String,Object>.
• CdpQueryDataGraphMetadata.type did not compile as a field despite the PDF string table implying it.
• DataGraphObjectData.paths is List<ConnectApi.DataGraphRelationship>.
• DataGraphObjectData.recencyCriteria is List<ConnectApi.RecencyCriteria>.

Recommendation

Split the broader pre-66 CdpQuery/Data Graph backlog into its own issue. Keep #46 focused on current API 66/67 ConnectApi refresh work.
