2nd start (Vanilla): around 16sec

I used ModrinthApp, Fabric 0.18.6 and your provided build above for this test.

Could it be that Vanilla 1.21.10 now starts up so quickly that DashLoader no longer has any effect at all without mods featuring new models?

This is very hardware dependent, and will vary from person to person. This is one of the reasons why I stopped working on Dashloader.

I prob should have made an annoucement about this in the discord a long time ago

As for why I stopped:

While I was updating the mod, I did not feel significant speed ups. This is while testing with a minimal mod set, and I usually don't have content mods installed.
You should see larger improvements on slower hardware and with mods that add content. But dashloader is known to be incompatible with quite afew mods which kinda defeats the purpose. Also it takes alot of time and effort to update the mod as Mojang does change how assets load frequently. Currently, I don't have that much free time to dedicate to updating dashloader, and there's other things I rather work on.

If I do return and work on dashloader, it'd probably be on major modding versions of mc and focusing on mod compatibility. Idk how far I'd get with that tho cuz some mods can do hella jank stuff or require them to work with dashloader's APIs.

Why not use AI?
I don't vibe code and they can be hela dumb without the right setup or when missing context. But if the code isent hot garbage and runs (dashloader already does seemingly janky stuff), I could work with it. So I might work with #120.

Tldr, working on dashloader is hard and I rather do other things.

The main parts aren't implemented, so it's basically the same as vanilla, but when I was doing the missing stuff, it started to shift my startup time more and more,

I stopped working on it (even being fully AI made) due to a lack of time, I'll finish the update soon, and then I'm gonna use this new code (with the new migrations) to manually update the code later, as the AI is updating the references and other broken logics
