Problem
Agent Deck users currently need to find, understand, and manually install skills and agents themselves. This creates friction for new users and makes it difficult for useful community-created resources to spread across teams and the wider user base.
Proposed solution
Add an in-app marketplace where community members can publish their own Agent Deck skills and agents, and users can discover and install them with one click.
The experience should support:
- Browsing and searching published skills and agents inside Agent Deck
- Clear resource details, including author, description, version, requirements, permissions/tools, and source
- One-click installation into the correct user-owned resource location, ready to use
- A publishing/submission flow for community creators
- Updating and uninstalling installed marketplace resources
- Trust and safety measures such as validation, explicit permission/tool disclosure, provenance, versioning, and reporting or moderation
- Helpful discovery for new users, such as featured, popular, and starter resources
A sensible first release could use a curated registry backed by version-controlled manifests, then expand toward community self-service publishing and richer discovery.
Success criteria
- A new user can discover and install a useful skill or agent without manually editing files.
- Installed resources are immediately available in Agent Deck after validation/refresh.
- Users can inspect what a resource contains and what capabilities it requests before installation.
- Authors have a documented path to submit and publish versioned resources.
- Installed resources can be updated or removed without modifying Agent Deck's bundled built-ins.

This should improve onboarding, make Agent Deck more useful out of the box, and encourage adoption by making successful skills and agents easy to share across users.
