PDF-AS is a multi-component solution for creating PAdES PDF signatures. It consists of three components:
- The PDF-AS Library implements the processing of PDF documents for and creation of PAdES signatures.
- PDF-AS Web builds on the PDF-AS Library to offer both a simple user-facing web interface and highly flexible integration for other web services.
- PDF-AS CLI allows the PDF-AS Library to be operated from the command line.
PDF-AS can be integrated into other software requiring PAdES-compliant signature creation. For example, it also powers PDF-Over in the context of the Austrian eGovernment.
