Asus ROG Strix G16 (G614FR) from early 2025 - same issue unresolved.
the last bios that came out until recently was the August 2025 bios - which did nothing to fix the issue. I waited and waited... and eventually had to pull the trigger on another laptop so i could get back to DJing and Music Production.
a few weeks ago, they finally put out a new bios for this model... but all it did was address the expiring Microsoft Secureboot certs. It did NOTHING to address this issue. It seems Asus is focused solely on the 2020-2024 models.
And i've tried contacting Asus support - they won't even talk to me becuase i bought this laptop at Best Buy. I talked to Best Buy - and they have no clue about this issue at all, and can't tell me when or even if Asus has any plans to update this model.
So - i've wiped the system clean, installed fresh Windows 11 plain, and selective drivers so i could use a combination of G-Helper (to replace Armory Crate) and Project Lasso to set processor affinity to keep my audio off the 0-1 cores - and THAT has done the most to help this issue, but it does not eliminate it. I can use this as a spare laptop for general tasks, but not for the DJing and Music production i bought it for.
I'm hoping ASUS is still reading this.
