When you click the "Back to Packet" button from the codes/packet_file page, it uses a breadcrumb link to go to the URL of the previous page. This has the effect that you're taken to the top of the index, and any sections you had open are closed again.
Better would be a history link, which actually behaved like a "back" button and returned you to the index page in the state in which you'd been there before.
