Forza Horizon 5 freezes on Lenovo Legion Go S after SteamOS 3.8.10

I'm on a SteamOS Lenovo Legion Go S. I bought Forza Horizon 5 a few months ago and it was working flawlessly until 3.8.10. I have tried different proton versions, going to beta versions, changing graphics, etc. The only thing that temporarily worked was deleting the compatdata and shadercache for this game. This only worked once, and then broke again after adjusting graphics on this game. The game always freezes after clicking continue on the intro screen and when it is loading up graphical stuff. When I mean freezes, it actually freezes the ENTIRE device, including hearing the fans turn off. If I open Steam Overlay when frozen, the screen goes black and doesn't turn back on. The only way to get out of this is to force shut down the ENTIRE system. Please fix this.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Launch Forza Horizon 5 on SteamOS
2. Sign in to Xbox
3. Click continue on the main screen
4. The entire system freezes during that load screen.

I found a fix / workaround! I was having the same issue on Forza Horizon 5 with my Legion Go S 16GB SteamOS version. You just have to set the UMA frame buffer size to 6GB.

Power Off: Completely shut down your Legion Go S.

Enter BIOS: Press and hold the Volume Up button, then tap the Power button. Release the buttons once the screen turns on.

BIOS Menu: Tap BIOS Setup on the screen.

Access Settings: Tap More Settings in the lower-right corner of the screen.

Navigate Configuration: Tap Configuration on the left-side menu.Set Buffer Size: Find the UMA Frame Buffer Size (or UMA Buffer Frame Size) option, tap the dropdown, and select 6G.

Save and Exit: Go to the Exit tab, select Save Changes and Exit, and confirm. Your device will restart.
