no button ON/OFF in the menu

i'm testing inside a VM for maybe adding on my main pc but i've got this problem. Do you think its the VM's fault or an installation who failed ? little question too about the sounds effect, i tried everything to turn it on nothing worked if you have any ideas how i can activate it i'll appreciate it.

What I usually do is to rename the "Games" folder into "Shut Down..." And add a shortcut to xfce4-session-logout via the menu editor. The automated install script is planned to add this feature, but the problem is I don't know how I should implement it...

There should be settings for sound effects in "Appearance", but it shouldn't do a lot since Xfce has a lack of system sounds.

i heard that XFCE doesn't has effect at all yeah i turned on everything nothing work but i'll search that later

Hi, @FrenchDivision.

FYI, I have made a more efficient way to shut down from the start menu, but this comes at one cost; The button when hovering might look a bit out of place.

All you need to do is to check these two functions in the whisker menu settings (by right-clicking the start-button and clicking "Properties"):

Afterwards you can rename the bottom menu entry to "Shut Down.." (in Menu Editor) and then resize the menu to your liking and it should work.

What i did was to "move" the command entry of "xfce4-session-logout" over a start menu entry in CSS. It took some hours of testing, but the result turned out to be good.
