The build times are rather long, especially for the docs. I'm putting this issue up to probe if we could explore alternatives to autoapi and or sphinx; whether it is worth it or we just set in and forget it. The docs currently generate a bunch of images which could statically generated for example. Open to ideas and happy to hear your thoughts!
