I was recently watching a 1080p Blu-ray encode of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 1&2(2012) on my 1080p monitor on mpv player
(using default lanczos scaling profile). Even though the video is in 1080p and matches my display’s native resolution and was using active lanczos scaling still it needed some enhancement, line darkening, and general cleanup.
And there also also various 2000s that are in 1080p but tend to look slightly blurry and could benifit from these shaders.
I tried using the ACNet shaders (specifically acnet_gan and acnet_hdn0), but I noticed they weren’t activating. For comparison, Anime4K shaders apply their enhancements to 1:1 content without any issues.
On checking the .glsl files I founded

//!WHEN OUTPUT.w LUMA.w / 1.2 > OUTPUT.h LUMA.h / 1.2 > *

Is it possible to provide variants of these shaders that remove the 1.2 scaling requirement and would work on any content like anime4k ones in future?
