How to fetch list of Threads for a forumID?

Hey there, sorry if issues are not the right place to ask this question, but I wasn't sure where to reach out 😊

I'm looking at creating a small tool for my company (Buffer) to generate a weekly report of newly added Threads in the public forums.

I already managed to generate an API key and get the list of forums using /forums. But, I cannot find in the documentation a way to retrieve the list of Threads for a forum and a period of time.

Would you be able to give me a hint? 😊

Hi @philippemiguet, thanks so much for reaching out! It's awesome to hear that you generated an API key and started poking around the API!

Unfortunately retrieving a list of Threads from a forum is something the API doesn't support right now. Right now the goal of the API is to be able to programmatically create threads (and the /forums endpoint helps with that). We don't support a read API to query for data on Threads.

I shared this feedback with our eng/product teams, and it's something we'll consider for future versions of the API.

That would be amazing if you could provide a way to fetch some information about the list of Threads in a forum: id (to build the URL to the Thread), title, created at. It's all I would need to generate our weekly report 😊
