Unable to CTRL + click multiple files in VS Code

This might be an issue with other editors too, but I just discovered with the current version (1.1), I now can't CTRL + click in the file tree to select multiple files. It ends up triggering a DBL CLICK and opening the file each time I click it.

Is there any way to limit the scope of the intercepts to the editor windows only? I don't know enough about the VS Code layout to suggest a solution for that aspect.

And if you don't want me stress testing this anymore let me know. It has promise but just has some practical issues to get through. :)

I did take a brief look with the help of the Au3Info tool and I don't see an easy way to tell if the mouse is over the editor vs the solution explorer for VS Code. The whole window is like a Direct3D control I guess. If anyone finds a way, I'll implement it.

@jjblodgett you can check if the current cursor is in edit mode(IBeam), like i do it with AHKv2:

@DoCode Sounds like a reasonable solution. I don't work in CPP. Is that custom code that has to be compiled, etc or is that something I just place in a config file somewhere and it would function differently?

@jjblodgett Ah, sorry, I can implement it in C++ and create a pull request.
But you can test it. Take my sample from my comment above, put it in a test.ahk file, and double-click the file.
Only AutoHotKey should be installed before.
