Hi there, I have recently built a USB2Amiga :) Many Thanks fir your work, its very much appreciated :)
I used a USB keyboard I had to hand which has backlights, it completely didn't work.
Im a 61 year old electronics repair guy and decided to investigate, my build skills aren't at fault :)
What I found was this, on the USB Shield (I used the exact same one, cheap from china) the power output on the USB connector was only 3.2V...It was being fed from the regulator of the Mega328 Mini board... 'Shock', it should be (as Im sure you are aware) 5V.
A quick look over the board confirmed this, +V to the USB comes from VBUS, the 3V3 supply, there was a simple fix, cut that trace right next to the port and solder in small wire to the (V)RAW pin coming from the Mino Pro.
After this the USB2Amiga worked perfectly! also the backlight came on and the CAPs/NUM lock LEDs worked :)
I shall investigate and see if this was also the issue when a USB hub was tried, maybe its possible to use one and have a USB keyboard and a wireless mouse :)
Can provide photos of this small modification if you like.
Once again thanks for your work so far :)
