Hi,
the website seems to be down and therefor the book is unavailable in an enduser format. Why not host the pdf, epub etc. directly here on GitHub anyway?

Yes, you are right. Perhaps I should remove it from GitHub as well.

That book was written in early 2020 -- because a few people had asked for a beginner book -- and was available for about 5 years online. One year ago I finally removed it for various reasons:

• The book was a beginner book, but finally there have not been many beginners left -- only two persons actually bought the online version, and there was not a lot of other positive feedback.
• Rumpf did not like the book too much, I think they finally created their own book in 2022/23.
• My Nim book was created in 2020 without AI support, and I am not a native English speaker, so the grammar and text quality was not too good -- later cleanup attempts with tools like grammary, quillbot, and finally ChaptGPT 3.5 have been difficult due to AsciiDoc format.
• In the last years there have been a dozen other Nim books at Amazon.
• I finally left Nim three years ago for various reasons.
• I think they are now working on a new variant of Nim -- even without that, after 5 years a computer book is typically outdated.

Thanks for your reply. With the information you gave I'd say it would be best to archive this repo and/or more or less quote your reply on top of the readme so that people who heard about the book instantly find out about the situation and don't waste time searching around for a download. I'll check out your Rust book. Greets!
