I have an M4 Pro MacBook Pro. like your project a lot and I love that it's relatively open source! However, I am wondering if I can run your Parol commander software on my Mac. Last year I build the 3D printed Arctos Robotics 6-Axis Robot arm and I had issues. The Arctos software/gui was made only for 64bit (or 32bit?) windows or linux. I was not able to get the software to work, even with all kinds of linux & windows emulation, partitioning, etc.. it ended up being a huge pain and disappointment.
Sadly, I have seen this trend in robotics - which makes me kinda sad. Many new computers (or ALL of new apple computers) use ARM based processors now. Do you have a version of your software or a planned version that will allow for use on MacOS or Linux on a macbook that works with ARM (M1-M5) based processors?
