0117_H_PULM_ALGS has a model creation issue

Description

Alas, it should come as no surprise that we have another pulmonary model whose model cannot be created from the existing segmentations. In this issue, we investigate 0117_H_PULM_ALGS.

I am going through a branch-by-branch process of creating the model. This time, the warning is: "Warning: Failed to create model". The terminal says "CapID Array is not on the surface". This first occurs for LPA_01_02. Note to self to continue from here.

Reproduction

Launch SimVascular 2025.12.21 and try to create a model with the existing segmentations.

Expected behavior

Create a nice model from the segmentations.

Another comment: some times when you build a model you create many segmentations but don't select all of them for the final model. It's possible there are "extra" segmentations saved that were not in fact used in the 3D surface that was then created. This could result in the model quality looking substandard if one is not aware which segmentations were actually used in final model creation. Not sure how to determine which were selected, but raising this issue for awareness.

@alisonmarsden This is helpful! I will investigate this in the meantime as we wait for Weiguang's response in the other thread. I am thinking of toggling the segmentations and seeing how they align with the existing models.
